my last show was in 1990 and I am curious as to what a grateful dead ticket's face value was in 94-95. I met someone that said he saw them in 1994 and paid 100 or so, I am having a hard tme believing that it would be that much?

Ok I didn't see a ton o shows after 91 but I don't ever recall paying more than 30$ and my last show was at high gate 95.

I only saved a few stubs,
one is from July 24th, 1987 - $20

Bob Dylan/Grateful Dead at Oakland Coliseum Stadium.

I walked out before the show was over, it was awful musically/vocally to my ears.

The first shows I saw with the GD were $3, in 1970 (or was it $3.50?)

I saw 25 shows from 1970-1992, inc. JGB;
about 7 were comped by friends, perks with my chef shift at The Stone or free in the park.

Only one was a sneak-in, no big scene or gate crashing besides me walking calmly through the side door of Winterland, 1977,
and my buddy who got in by an unbelievable athletic feat hoisting himself up onto the fire escape, well out of reach to the public... and then through the upper floor emergency exit.

I went to all the $3 shows (one-two nights each run) in the following posters:

i think i remember you posting about your sneak-in scene, priceless is what it was; but what i am wondering is when your memoirs will be published, would be a fascinating read!

We had reseved seats for some shows at Shoreline in 94. I think the tix were about 40 bucks each...

Ironically, the day Garcia passed my tix by San bernadino CA came mail order. I believe the face before any GDTS and mailing charges was 37.50. Don't quote me but the ticket did not read over 40 bucks, that I know.
